|Ta'min Co. sends pilgrims to holy city of Mashhad|
The Ta’min International Tourism, Air and Rail Travel Company sent a group of retirees and pensioners of the Social Security Organization to a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mashhad in northwestern Iran.
Chairman of the Social Security Organization Dr. Taqi Nurbakhsh and HEGTA Managing Director Dr. Ebrahimbai Salami along with Head of the High Commission for Retirees Ali Asghar Bayat took part in the symbolic ceremony to say farewell to the 250 pilgrims.
At the meeting, Mohammad Ebrahim Larijani, managing director of the Ta’min International Tourism, Air and Rail Travel Company, emphasized that the plan of dispatching 25,500 retired people and around 4,000 personnel of the Social Security Organization to the pilgrimage to Mashhad kicked off in the last Iranian calendar year (March 21, 20015 to March 20, 2016) and the trend will continue in the current year.
The Iranian Social Security Organization plans to send around 30,000 retirees and pensioners to the holy city of Mashhad in this Iranian year. The organization also intends to dispatch about 8,000 pilgrims to visit the holy shrines of Shia sacred figures in Iraq.
