|HEGTA calls for ICHTO cooperation|
Head of the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Dr. Masoud Soltanifar and HEGTA Managing Director Dr. Ebrahimbai Salami held talks in Tehran on April 30.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Salami conveyed a report of programs and projects of the Tourism Holding of the Social Security Organization (HEGTA) throughout the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He also emphasized the importance of the “100 Hotels, 100 Businesses Seminar” as one of the pivotal projects of the holding, adding that Iranian governors and mayors as well as investors from within the country and overseas have expressed readiness to collaborate in the giant hotel-building project in the country.
The HEGTA managing director called for the cooperation of the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization in holding the aforementioned seminar.
Pointing out to a plan for establishing tourism business centers in Iran, he said HEGTA is going to bring together a vast group of people active in tourism industry in order to set up an enormous market for tourism services throughout the country.
Dr. Soltanifar, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the efforts made by HEGTA and noted that managers of the ICHTO are ready to cooperate in organizing the seminar.
He also underlined the need for setting up the tourism business centers in Iran, adding that his organization is pleased to team up with HEGTA in this respect.
The 100 Hotels, 100 Businesses Seminar is scheduled to be held in Tehran on May 29 in a bid to attract foreign and Iranian investors to invest in the giant hotel-building project.
