|Iran envoy to Singapore visits HEGTA HQ|
Iranian Ambassador to Singapore Javad Ansari paid a visit to the headquarters of the Tourism Holding of the Social Security Organization (HEGTA) in Tehran on April 27.
HEGTA Managing Director Dr. Ebrahim Bai Salami expressed gratitude to the Iranian envoy’s efforts to expand economic ties between Singapore and Iran, noting that tourism sector prepares a precious opportunity of cooperation between Iran and the eastern Asian countries, especially Singapore.
Salami also called on Ansari to transfer the experiences of Singapore in tourism and hotel-building industry to Iran in a bid to develop the sector in the Islamic Republic.
For his turn, Ansari praised activities of the Tourism Holding and described the “100 Hotels, 100 Businesses Seminar” as a valuable project to attract investors to empower the Iranian tourism industry.
The Iranian ambassador to Singapore underlined the necessity of signing economic and trade documents as an important basis in line with creating the atmosphere of cooperation, expressing readiness to dispatch delegations active in hotel and tourism sector.
Ansari and Salami agreed to pave the ground for providing tourists from Singapore and other East Asian countries with hospitality opportunities.
