|Omani deputy envoy urges HEGTA coop|
Sultan Bin Rashidal-Qatabi, the deputy ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Tehran, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Tourism Holding of Social Security Organization, known as HEGTA in Persian.
According to HEGTA, the deputy envoy called on managers of the Holding to pay a visit to Oman aimed at paving the ground for Iranians to collaborate in Oman tourism sector as well as developing a joint venture in tourism industry.
Referring to tourism projects in Oman, al-Qatabi noted that his country has given more attention to the tourism industry in the wake of the decreasing price of crude at the international oil market
Dr. EbrahimBai Salami, the chief executive of HEGTA, for his part, pointed to both medical and religious tourisms as main bases of collaboration between Oman and Iran.
He further underlined the need for changing the strategy of economic cooperation between the two countries, calling for seizing the opportunity to strengthen economy and tourism industry in both friendly nations.
